How to Turn A Chrome or Firefox Browser Tab Into a Notepad

Have you considered the time spent between the browser and the operating system? In my instance, the ratio is 80:20. I am staring through the internet window 80% of the time and rarely return to the PC for work. As a result, Chrome’s potential has grown with time, and it is now much more than just a browser. It’s a PDF reader, online snipper, spell checker, and other useful tools. You may have used Chrome in a variety of ways, but today I’ll show you how to utilize it as a notepad.

How to use Chrome or Mozilla as a Notepad

Just paste this code given below in the notepad given below.

To make your browser an instant notepad, simplly type this in the URL bar:

data:text/html, <html contenteditable>

And for more beautiful versions paste code given below

data:text/html, <html><head><link href='' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'><style type="text/css"> html { font-family: "Open Sans" } * { -webkit-transition: all linear 1s; }</style><script>window.onload=function(){var e=false;var t=0;setInterval(function(){if(!e){t=Math.round(Math.max(0,t-Math.max(t/3,1)))}var n=(255-t*2).toString(16);"#ff"+n+""+n},1e3);var n=null;document.onkeydown=function(){t=Math.min(128,t+2);e=true;clearTimeout(n);n=setTimeout(function(){e=false},1500)}}</script></head><body contenteditable style="font-size:2rem;line-height:1.4;max-width:60rem;margin:0 auto;padding:4rem;">

code is given in this TextPad here

But, hold on a second, why would anyone use a browser as a notepad? The first and most obvious advantage is that you can simply navigate between tabs and your writing, and the second is that some browsers, like as Chrome, have spell check activated. As a result, there will be an automatic spell check. Go to Chrome’s settings->advanced settings->languages to enable spell check.
