How to Resolve ‘Proxy server is refusing connections’ Error on Firefox

 

 

Are you unable to connect to the internet because the error message ‘The proxy server is denying connections’ appears in Mozilla Firefox? Don’t be concerned if it is. There is a very simple solution to this problem. This is a problem caused by Firefox’s incorrect proxy server settings.

 

Fix: Configure proxy access in Firefox-

 

This problem can be resolved by configuring proxy settings in Firefox. Simply follow these few steps:

1. Start Firefox on your computer.

 

2. Now, in the top-left corner of the Firefox window, click on the three-bar menu, followed by “Options.”

 

3. Scroll down the Options screen until you see “Network Settings.”

4. Now, in the bottom-left corner of the screen, click “Settings.”

 

5. Select “No proxy” in the ‘Configure Proxy Access to the Internet settings.

Finally, press the “OK” button.

 

Close the Firefox window.

Relaunch Firefox on your machine and try to connect to the internet.

It will undoubtedly work.
